The Law Enforcement Safety Foundation is a nonprofit organization designed to promote safety to law enforcement officers nationwide. Programs designed to keep officers aware of dangers not only on the job, but during training, fulfill our mission of keeping officers alive.
News:
POLICE magazine recently published an article concerning the Law Enforcement Safety Foundation. In the article, it states that individual officers may join the foundation. Unfortunately, our foundation is set up for organizations only. At this time, individuals cannot join.
Tactical Lifesaver:
Through partnerships with Honeywell and The Backup Training Corporation, Tactical Lifesaver, a 4-hour digital-based training course, is available to officers across the country free of charge. The course order and application forms are included in the Honeywell Officer Safety Package. A new version of this course will be available this year.
The Tactical Lifesaver (TLS) kit, discussed in April’s issue of
POLICE magazine, is still in the process of being assembled. It will become available around the same time the new version of TLS is released.
We will keep this website updated with information on TLS, the TLS kit, and any other important news concerning the Foundation or its partners.
